About OpenEuroLLM

The OpenEuroLLM project brings together Europe's leading AI companies and research institutions to develop high-performance, Europe-focused, multilingual foundation models for use in commercial, industrial, and public services. These transparent, open-source models will democratise access to quality AI, thereby strengthening Europe's global competitiveness.

The project enhances Europe's digital sovereignty by promoting transparency, openness, and community involvement. The models will be developed within Europe's regulatory framework to ensure they align with European values while maintaining technological excellence.
