Igor has held several positions in the business development and the management of technical teams in space and nuclear engineering projects. He is also the co-organizer of the Paris Machine Learning meetup, one of the largest Data Science meetup in the world with more than 7,000 members. Igor also writes a technical blog with a focus on algorithms, data and sensors that has been viewed more than 7 million times since its inception. Igor holds a Ph.D from Texas A&M University and an Engineering degree from INPG.

Ben currently holds the position of Director of Products and Marketing at LightOn. At the outset of his career, he contributed to the development of Chronoresto, a precursor in online dining, akin to today's Uber Eats. Chronoresto's success led to its acquisition by the French Yellow Pages. Subsequently, along with his partners , Ben co-founded DialOnce. Together, they innovated in customer relations, offering a solution to abandon the tedious interactive voice response systems ("press 1, press 2…") in favor of a digital orchestration platform. This initiative transformed millions of calls to phone numbers into digital interfaces. This innovation is at the heart of the "Call Digitalization" patent, a technology that impacted one in ten French citizens over the past three years.

Iacopo has a distinguished career in the field of machine learning and optical processing. He made significant contributions as the Lead Machine Learning Scientist for nearly four years and as an R&D Engineer for over a year. He began his journey with LightOn as a Research Intern in January 2017.

Iacopo has been actively involved in research, with numerous publications to his name. His work has been recognized and cited by peers in the field, particularly in areas related to neural network training on optical processors, adversarial robustness through analog computing, and scalable model-free online change-point detection.

Laurent is a graduate from Ecole Normale Supérieure and holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Marseille University. He is a former fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France, which recognizes the top 2% of French university professors for their research excellence. Laurent has been a consultant to various small and large companies, and is a co-inventor in several patents. He has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, and over 120 conference proceedings.

Yeray is a seasoned full-stack developer with a rich experience spanning various roles in web and application development. Currently, he is a Full-stack Developer at LightOn. Previously, he showcased his expertise as a Front-end Developer at GeoDB in Sevilla, where he mastered tools like React.js, Git, Apollo GraphQL, Vue.js, GatsbyJS, Docker, and more. Yeray also served as a Front-end Architect at EUIGS | Admiral Group, focusing on React.js, Git, GraphQL, AWS, and Docker. His tenure at Homebrella as a Full Stack Web Developer saw him working with technologies like React.js, Git, Python, GraphQL, React Native, Django REST framework, AWS, GatsbyJS, and Docker.

Olga is an experienced Product Manager at LightOn, where she's been instrumental in promoting a revolutionary AI API for over 2 years. Prior to this, she managed conferences for TYBE for nearly 3 years. Olga also has a strong academic background, having served as a researcher in mathematics at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie for 5 years. Earlier in her career, she worked in public relations for SunTV in Moldova. Olga holds a Doctorate in Probabilities from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, a Master's in Political Science and Government from Panthéon-Assas University, and a Bachelor's in Marketing from Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova.

Lilian is a seasoned Cloud/Data Architect with a strong focus on DevOps, particularly in the Python domain. He is proficient in working with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. His expertise spans across multiple operating systems, including various Linux distributions and Windows versions.

Lilian believes in the power of automation, whether it's through scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, or using tools like Ansible. He is a staunch advocate for version control (Git) and iterative processes, with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines being integral to his workflow.

David is the VP of Business & Strategy at LightOn. He founded brainattic, a semantic video search engine, and was the CEO of Grokvideo, both acquired in 2023. With roles at Nanocloud Software and ComputeNext, he's an expert in cloud computing and business development. David holds a Master of Arts in Finance & Economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and is passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Web3.

A graduate from the prestigious École Normale Supérieure with a focus on physics, Amélie embarked on a journey into theoretical physics, earning a PhD from Université Paris Cité in 2018.  Transitioning from theoretical physics, she has since pivoted to the field of Machine Learning, with a current emphasis on Natural Language Processing (NLP) at LightOn. Amélie has also showcased her work at various international workshops and conferences.​

Guillaume is a highly skilled software engineer and researcher with a deep expertise in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning. He holds a PhD, during which he focused on creating and exploiting metadata for a video platform to enhance content recommendation.  Guillaume's professional journey includes significant stints at tech giants like Facebook and Google, where he worked as a Software Engineer Intern. At Facebook, he delved into natural language understanding using machine learning, while at Google, he contributed to improving Android's dex2oat compiler.

Patrick currently serves as the Partnerships Coordinator at LightOn. Before this role, he spent nearly 7 years at PwC as the Director of Advisory Services, where he led transformation projects and business intelligence initiatives. Patrick also has a rich history of leadership at idrh for over 18 years, where he directed major projects, drove sales, and secured partnerships. He ventured into the startup world with Orsaia, focusing on artificial intelligence. Patrick's early career includes strategic consulting at Corporate Value Associates, R&D at Alstom Transport. He holds a Ph.D. in Epistemology from the École normale supérieure.

Graduated in Distributed Computing and Database, Patrice has over 20 years of tech experience. He started at Université de Sherbrooke and managed international business at Revolution Linux. At ISVTEC, he led business development and strategic partnerships. Patrice further honed his product management skills at ForCity, Neotys, and Tricentis. Now, as a Senior Product Manager at LightOn, he leverages his expertise to deliver high-value AI and data products.

​Adrien boasts a rich background in optics and quantum cryptography. Following a postdoctoral stint at Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6, where he delved into quantum cryptography protocols. Educated at École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, his research in quantum optics has led to several notable publications on hybrid entanglement and quantum state engineering. Recently, Adrien pivoted to engineering roles in the Large Language Model domain.

Graduated in French Literacy, Political Science and Communication, Hélen has more than 10 years of experience in Brand & Product Marketing strategy. He started out his career in crisis communications for the French energy company Total. He then moved to Public Relation agencies, where he worked for enterprise accounts in Retail, Banking, Defense and Public Institutions such as SNCF, French Ministry of Health and Labor.

In the years before he joined LightOn, Hélen had been in charge of Marketing and Communications for a Start-Up Studio and an AI company that has developed a LLMOps platform.

Fabien is a seasoned Engineer with a strong background in electronics, applied physics, and optics. Since November 2019, he has been contributing to LightOn.  Fabien's dedication to research and development is evident from his stint at The University of Queensland, where he worked on a differential interferometric system. His contributions to the field are further highlighted by his involvement in the publication on LightOn's Optical Processing Unit, which introduces a photonic AI accelerator chip for at-scale computations.

Safa  is a seasoned embedded development engineer with a rich portfolio of technical competencies. Graduating from École Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Tunis with a degree in Electronics, she possesses expertise in low-level embedded development, programming in C/C++, Python, and VHDL, and is proficient with a range of microcontrollers, FPGA & SOC platforms. Safa's experience spans various projects, including spatial and aeronautical controls, radio frequency systems, and medical applications. Recently, Safa pivoted to engineering roles in the Large Language Model domain.

​Julien has a diverse background spanning education, technology, and business. He currently serves as an LLM and Prompt Engineer at LightOn.  Julien's academic achievements are notable. He is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Science and Executive Engineering at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, focusing on Data Science and AI. His skills range from data science, AI, and computer vision to strategic management and innovation, reflecting a blend of technical and business acumen.

Oskar is a Machine Learning Engineer at LightOn, specializing in Large Language Models. He has a strong foundation in both academic research and practical applications of Generative AI, with previous research and engineering roles at the Reasoning and Learning Lab at Linköping University, Telenor, and Trafikverket in Sweden. These experiences have spanned various domains, including LLMs, GANs, CNNs and Audio Models. Oskar holds a Master's in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from Linköping University, during which he also studied at EPFL in Switzerland.

Clément is a dedicated R&D Software Engineer currently associated with LightOn. With a tenure of over 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer on a freelance basis, he has honed his skills in software development and engineering. His recent certifications from Coursera underscore his expertise in Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.

Said is a machine learning engineer and open source contributor. With a strong background in data science and computer science from École Centrale de Lyon and a Master's in Data Science from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Said specializes in advanced text recognition, predictive modeling, and customer behavior analysis using state-of-the-art AI techniques. His work includes improving OCR accuracy, wait time forecasting in call centers, and risk estimation in electrical grids, demonstrating a keen ability to apply machine learning solutions to diverse challenges.

Antoine is an R&D Engineer at LightOn with a background in computer engineering and a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence. His work has notably leaned towards text generation, a key focus of his thesis, alongside collaborative efforts on AI applications like fake news detection with IMATAG and IRISA's LinkMedia team. Antoine's expertise spans software development, AI, and data modeling. He has also contributed to academia, teaching machine learning and data analysis. At LightOn, he continues to contribute to innovative research and development projects with a focus on generative AI technologies.

Aurélien is a Machine Learning Engineer at LightOn, specializing in deep learning and multimodal models. He has a strong foundation in both academic research and practical applications of AI and ML. He started his career with an engineering degree in computer science and applied mathematics from ENSEEIHT. During his two years at Thales as an AI/ML engineer, he deepened his understanding of deep learning, focusing on computer vision techniques such as super-resolution, segmentation and domain transfer, as well as NLP and multimodal models, including text-image diffusion models and foundation models.

Mathieu is a seasoned DevOps and Cloud Engineer with a track record at companies like LightOn, Inetum, ADEO, and SNCF. At ADEO, he played a pivotal role in the Hyper-Automation project, focusing on automating operational tasks, analyzing needs, and developing automation workflows. His technical expertise encompasses Linux, Agile, Ansible, Gitlab, and more. Mathieu's academic background includes computer programming and network administration, and he holds numerous certifications, including those from AWS, Google Cloud, and Red Hat.

Brahim is a skilled DevOps and Cloud Engineer, currently working at LightOn. With experience at Capgemini and Inetum, he has demonstrated proficiency in automating operations and developing automation workflows. Brahim holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from CESI École Supérieure de l’Alternance and a BTS in IT from Lycée Jean Rostand. He's skilled in Linux, Agile methodologies, Ansible, and GitLab. His certifications from Dynatrace, IBM, and UX alliance underscore his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Cyrille Vandemaele is currently an Intern Network and Cybersecurity Technician at LightOn, eager to learn new skills and start this exciting journey in the cybersecurity field. He began his career in the development branch, creating websites and multiplayer game emulators for private clients. However, his passion has since shifted towards the security aspect of information systems.

Sofya is a Full Stack Web Developer at LightOn. She studied web development at EPITECH in Paris and, prior to that, earned a degree in social psychology from Rostov State University in Russia. With 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer at Admiral Group Plc, Sofya is well-versed in the entire development process. She works within an agile team, handling everything from user interface design to testing and debugging. Additionally, she has certifications in AWS Developer Tools, AWS Essentials, and AWS Security Essentials.

Youssef is a dedicated software developer with a strong foundation in mobile and web development. Currently, he is serving as a Software Developer at LightOn. Prior to this, Youssef worked as a Mobile Engineer at Lovester in Tunisia, where he honed his skills in software architecture, testing, caching, clean coding, and Flutter. Youssef pursued his Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the renowned INSAT - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie.

Reda excels as a Full Stack Developer at LightOn, where his expertise in software development is showcased through innovative projects. With a strong background in machine learning and front-end development from his experiences at Upskyld and BJD IT, Reda brings a blend of technical skill and creativity to the team. His academic achievements, including a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, underpin his practical know-how.

Emmanuel Sandorfi, software engineer, brings his web development expertise to LightOn. He masters the backend and frontend in Python, Django, Javascript..., works with code readability and testability, and is sensitive to the values delivered to each customer. He has created applications for a wide range of industries in France, Europe and the USA. Today, as part of an innovative team, he puts his 4 keywords to good use: exchange, deliver, share, achieve.

Rakia is a seasoned Business Development Manager at LightOn. With a rich background in Translation, Communication, and Artificial Intelligence, she excels in International Business Management, fortified by her Masters of Science in International Business Development and Strategy from Institut Superieur de Commerce de Paris. Rakia's expertise extends to SAP and ERP systems, ensuring success in her roles. Rakia's academic achievements also include a Master of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics from Institut Catholique de Paris and a CELTA from the University of Cambridge.

Arthur Ducasse, an engineering graduate from France's prestigious École Polytechnique and HEC Paris, has a strong grounding in computer science, mathematics, and economics. His professional journey has taken him from strategic consulting at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to specializing in AI/ML solutions at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he also served as a Generative AI Ambassador.

Now stepping into LightOn as a Ai Architect, Arthur is set to leverage his technical expertise and customer engagement skills to enhance client experiences and drive the adoption of advanced AI technologies.

Maxime joins LightOn as an AI Architect within the Customer Success Management (CSM) team. After undergraduate degrees from Sciences Po and Columbia University in Economics and Mathematics, and a masters degree from École Polytechnique in Economics and Data Science, Maxime is bringing a rich background from his tenure at Dataiku as a Senior Data Scientist. At LightOn, Maxime aims to leverage his technical and business skills to enhance client experiences and promote the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies. Alongside his work, Maxime also shares his knowledge by teaching Data Science at top-tier French universities.

Denis is a Generative AI Specialist at LightOn, leveraging over 15 years in digital innovation to drive responsible tech solutions. With a focus on sustainable digital practices, he joined LightOn to enhance enterprise data value through advanced AI. Denis's diverse background includes leading finance at fruggr, managing cloud partnerships at Scaleway, and fostering sales and marketing strategies across tech sectors. Passionate about digital responsibility, he also volunteers with WINNING GIRLS, empowering future female leaders.

Armelle is a seasoned professional with a knack for mobilizing energies around meaningful projects. She brings a strategic and global vision, backed by her multidisciplinary experience as a manager and communicator. After supporting general management for 5 years in administration, she is currently in charge of the HR and office management areas, moreover she is particularly interested in topics on employer branding, corporate culture and in the implementation of meaningful, well-being and inclusive projects

Milo currently serves as Head of Operations at LightOn. As such, he is responsible for structuring and scaling the company’s internal operations, including its financial, legal and human resources. He is also responsible for LightOn’s outreach, both to identify new customers and to engage with public policy. Milo joined LightOn from Institut Montaigne, France’s leading policy think tank, where he authored two reports on AI governance and several others on digital policy. Whilst there, he also built the think tank’s innovation programme and launched the Destination AI course, which has trained over 300 000 people in the basics of AI, and a mathematics programme for primary school students. Previously, he co-founded Teech, an EdTech startup. Milo holds a degree in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Oxford.
